Ted founded TechTrade in 2003 with the goal of creating products that make a difference in the world. With 25 years of experience in the field, he had the right knowledge and creativity to do just that. Ted graduated with a BA from William Patterson University and went on to work at 3M and two prominent Japanese trading companies. His expertise ranges from engineering systems, export sales and international trade and barter in 3M, to industrial textiles including high-tech textiles, non-wovens, fiber optics and general commodities including product development, international product sourcing and skins and hides.
Under Ted’s direction TechTrade has pioneered the structural firefighting glove market as well as developed a completely unique life-saving heated medical blanket line used to treat hypothermia and shock. With his team of talented employees TechTrade looks forward to producing the next innovative product that changes the shape of industry.
Ted lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children. He spends his free time with his family traveling to new and interesting places. He also loves to stay active by exercising, playing tennis and mountain climbing.
