Team TechTrade

Ted Bart: CEO/President

Ted founded TechTrade in 2003 with the goal of creating products that make a difference in the world. With 25 years of experience in the field, he had the right knowledge and creativity to do just that. Ted graduated with a BA from William Patterson University and went on to work at 3M and two prominent Japanese trading companies. His expertise ranges from engineering systems, export sales and international trade and barter in 3M, to industrial textiles including high-tech textiles, non-wovens, fiber optics and general commodities including product development, international product sourcing and skins and hides.

Under Ted’s direction TechTrade has pioneered the structural firefighting glove market as well as developed a completely unique life-saving heated medical blanket line used to treat hypothermia and shock. With his team of talented employees TechTrade looks forward to producing the next innovative product that changes the shape of industry.

Ted lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children. He spends his free time with his family traveling to new and interesting places. He also loves to stay active by exercising, playing tennis and mountain climbing.

Allan Bart: Vice President

When Ted realized that his company was ready to be taken to the next level, he brought in his brother Allan, an established management consultant with over 30 years experience running and growing businesses in a variety of industries.  Since joining TechTrade in 2008, Allan has been focused on the operations side of TechTrade, responsible for the day to day activities of the company. Using his skills in finance, sales and marketing along with his expertise working with Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial companies, Allan is focused on the future expansion of TechTrade.

Allan is an avid reader and wine enthusiast.  He lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and has four daughters and a son.  Allan received his B.S. in Finance from Rider University and has a MBA from Pace University.
